1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Bzz ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bzz, operated from Ireland.

2. Description of Service

Bzz is a digital queue management platform that enables businesses to manage customer queues efficiently. The Service includes:

Real-time queue management dashboard
QR code-based customer check-in
Push notifications for queue updates
Customer-facing queue status pages
Business branding customisation
Analytics and reporting (on applicable plans)

3. User Accounts

Business Users: To access business features, you must create an account using a valid email address. We use passwordless authentication via magic links sent to your email. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your email account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access

Queue Customers: Customers joining queues do not need to create accounts. They may optionally provide their name and enable push notifications for a better experience.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Bzz offers the following subscription tiers:

Free Plan: Basic queue management with limited features
Standard Plan: Enhanced features including custom branding
Pro Plan: Full feature access including analytics and priority support

Paid subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can manage your subscription, update payment methods, or cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account settings.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 14 days of your initial payment for a full refund. Refunds are not available for subsequent billing cycles or for accounts terminated due to Terms violations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Upload malicious code or content
Impersonate any person or entity
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service without permission
Resell or redistribute the Service without authorisation

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime due to circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by Bzz and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as brand logos). By uploading content, you grant us a licence to use it solely for providing the Service.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers. By using the Service, you also agree to their terms:

10. Termination

By You: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or other users.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bzz and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall never exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bzz and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we may also notify you via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
