Retekess T112 Pager Not Responding? Clear and Re-Pair It
The T112's setup buttons are hidden under the pager's clear cover. If a pager has stopped answering the keypad, clearing its old pairings and pairing it again fixes most cases.
Clear and re-pair a T112 pager
- 1
Slide off the clear cover and number card
Under them are two small buttons: SET and MODE.
- 2
Clear old pairings: hold SET for about 5 seconds
LED1 blinks on and off. Release the button and every saved keypad number is deleted.
- 3
Short-press SET
LED1 turns on. The pager is now listening for a number.
- 4
Within 10 seconds, type the number on the keypad and press CALL
LED1 turns off, which means it paired. The T112 keypad accepts any ID from 0 to 999.
- 5
Put the number card and cover back
Then page it once to confirm.
If the pager hears nothing within 10 seconds it leaves pairing mode on its own. Short-press SET again and retry.

With Bzz, guests scan a QR code and their own phone becomes the pager: a live place-in-line page in the browser that alerts them when it is their turn. There are no pagers to charge, pair or replace.

Change beep or vibrate
With the cover off, short-press MODE. Each press moves to the next alert mode.
1.Press MODE once
The pager beeps: it is now on beep and flash.
2.Press MODE again
The pager vibrates: it is now on vibrate and flash.
Pair one pager with a second keypad
One T112 pager can work with up to five keypads in range, for example one at the host stand and one at the pass.
1.Don't clear the pager first
Holding SET would wipe the pairing with the first keypad.
2.Short-press SET
LED1 turns on.
3.On the second keypad, type a number and press CALL
Use the same number or a different one. Pair one keypad at a time.
Two keypad shortcuts staff forget
1.Find a pager on the charger
Type its number and press CALL. That pager flashes red three times, so you can hand out the right one.
2.Silence every pager
Long-press 9 on the keypad until it beeps, then press CALL.
Battery
Retekess quotes a 360 mAh lithium-ion battery that charges fully in about 2 to 3 hours and lasts more than 12 hours of frequent use. A pager that dies mid-shift after a full charge has a worn cell.
T111 or T112? The T111 keypad has fixed buttons 1 to 20. The T112 has a 0–9 number pad and supports IDs up to 999. The pairing steps above are the same on both.
Retekess T119 coaster pagers pair differently
The T119 coaster has a number screen instead of LED1, and every keypad that calls the same coaster must use the same number.
1.First keypad: short-press SET
The light ring around the pager comes on.
2.Within 5 seconds, type a number (1–999) and press ENTER on the keypad
The number appears on the pager screen.
3.Adding another keypad: long-press MODE for about 3 seconds
The pager beeps twice. Then short-press SET and enter the same number + ENTER on the new keypad within 5 seconds.
Symptom → likely fix
- Pager ignores the keypad
- Hold SET 5 s to clear, short-press SET, then number + CALL within 10 s.
- LED1 stays on, then goes out with no pairing
- The 10-second window ran out. Short-press SET and enter the number faster.
- Pager vibrates but you want a beep (or the reverse)
- Short-press MODE under the cover until you hear or feel the mode you want.
- Second keypad can't call the pager
- Pair it without clearing: short-press SET, then number + CALL on the second keypad.
- Several pagers going off at once
- Long-press 9 until the keypad beeps, then CALL.
- Pager dies before the end of service
- Charge for 2–3 hours. If it still fades early, the battery is worn.
